  • All in all, a book well worth reading if you're interested in Crimean War.

I bought this book for two reasons: I wanted to read a concise, clear history of the Crimean War and I've learned to like the Wordsworth Military History series. This book fulfilled both these requirements. It was written in an impartial manner and clarified a lot of things for me. The only negative thing I can find is the maps, which are rather obscure. It's very difficult to see all the details in them.
