Order safely received, very well packed. Book is exactly as described in the posting, mint condition and never been read. Happy to report that the book was undamaged in transit so not bent and no creases. Excellent comms. as well. Very pleased indeed with my purchase. A professional and efficient service from this bookshop. This is how it should be done

Well packed, excellent condition, arrived on time. But not enough info was provided in the seller's description. I thought I'd ordered a catalogue of the paintings exhibited in the 1951 RA Ecole de Paris exhibition - what arrived was an illustrated selection of 'highlights'. My fault I suppose - the covers of both are identical except for the price (the one I received was the more expensive - 2/6 as opposed to 1/-!). But vendor, please in future provide EXACT details of what you're selling.

This book (now out of print?) partly overlaps with the author's similarly excellent book on the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton railway but has much more to say about the Worcester to Hereford section which coveres the area where I grew up. It also covers the modern scene including the Jewellery Quarter line in Birmingahms. I found the text very readable and entertaining, with many finely reproduced photographs. I have owned a copy of this book for some time but was pleased to buy another for my brother as a gift. Would thoroughly recommend.
