A good all rounder.
Have had this box for a few weeks now, the large top handle is good and strong, as is the smaller handle on the front. I took out the foam inserts, and i am using it as a tool box, my last box was deep and narrow, and you had to take half the contents out to find something at the bottom, but as this is wide, most things are in view when opening. The metal clasps are strong with a good snap shut feeling. The top section would have been better if you could alter the compartments to suit various items, i will probably grind a few sections away to fit my impact flex torq set box. Apart from that i am happy with the purchase, and with the Dewalt name should last me a decade or so.Have had this box for a few weeks now, the large top handle is good and strong, as is the smaller handle on the front. Great Storage Case
Bought this so i didn't have to carry two cases about with me when doing jobs as i had my drill in one case and impact driver in another, now they are both in this case and fit in excellently. there are compartments for a drill, impact driver and charger. The top opens to reveal several compartments for other small items like screws, drill bits etc. there is even one space that can hold two extra batteries but only up to a 3 amp hour size. all in all an excellent case that has everything i need for convenience. I occasionally do fitting jobs that only require a drill and a driver. With this case, I can carry both, with their charger, 3 batteries, and all their accessories - drill sets, boxes of bits, spades, plug cutters and countersinks, etc etc - in one safe and sturdy package. You can get all your little bits in the lid section, while the main case holds all the drills etc along with my bit & drill cases. It’s lockable for security on big sites or air travel, and it obviously works with all my other T-STAK boxes and so fits in my van & workshop racking. I occasionally do fitting jobs that only require a drill and a driver. Best of the boxes
Although the box that I got had come out of a set it contained the insert for Dewalt kit but fits Milwaukee gear perfectly. Great quality, especially if you don't pay full price, better than the suitcase boxes because of the storage in the lid, cracking stuff.
