great skimmer for small tanks
This skimmer is a great product, the best for a small tank works great. it takes a while for it to break in, but one it does it's fantastic. best on the market. However, the only thing that should be address is. For a standard tank that has a lip at top, the skimmer need to be about 1/2 inch to a inch longer at the magnet so it will stick out father so it can stand straight up, the lip of the tank causes it not too. So if you have a tank that has no lip or frame at top it is a perfect. still a great skimmer.This skimmer is a great product, the best for a small tank works great. it takes a while for it to break in, but one it does it's fantastic. best on the market. Weak magnet bad cup design
The cup is extremely hard to remove. The magnet is too weak to hold the skimmer when removing and replacing the cup so it takes two hands and the skimmer has to breed readjusted every time. Bad design.

Nice but loud

Big skimming power tiny package
I did not have huge expectations for this skimmer--due to the size and lack of pump power--however I was more than pleasantly surprised. It skims a tiny tank like a beast. It took roughly 48 hours to break in, but once broken in the skim it produces is almost black. Darker than my huge skimmer on my main display tank. I have since bought 3 more of these tiny creatures to put them to work on my other nano tanks. Two thumbs up. **No skimmer is perfect** If I had to say one bad thing about this skimmer it's that it's really designed for rimless tanks. Rimmed tanks are at a disadvantage with just a magnet to hold it in place and I have to prop it on the edge with the air line holder. I do wish the company included some type of sling to wrap around the neck and hook to the side of the tank to ...
