    Eagle Adjustable Lamp Light Dimmer Switch 13A Wall Plug In Brightness Control is as described and fit for purpose but be aware that the click to the off position does not turn off the dimmer and there is still current draw. I bought two of these to control ambient lighting and to leave for a short while when out so I have combined with a timer which shuts off the dimmer so no big deal for me. Very happy with them.

    Excellent.. bought a Bedside lamp & delighted with it but I couldn't find a bulb that would be dim enough (led G9)..it was like a light house...so did a Google (never heard of dimmer plug before) & come across this & it's absolutely perfect...some reviews said the light flickers but mine doesn't & it does a perfect job...... absolutely recommended

    Dimmable LED output

    I wanted a plug in 13A dimmer to vary/control the light output of a low wattage LED standard lamp. The dimmer fulfils my requirements completely and is easy to use. It was purchased in October 2019 so only had little use but so far so good, it has been successfully used without any problems.

    good dimming but no protection

    I have used on 4X 40W bulbs and worked well. Strangely the bulbs expired very fast. I do not know if they dimmer caused it but very suspicious on the dimmer. I have found some small bulbs, they were 1W non-dimmable LED. I have installed these on the lamp and the dimmer shorted out right away. I plugged lamp up to the other dimmer and did the same. So, if you use non-dimmable bulbs be aware. The dimmer does not have a protection. It just fries out. A proper dimmer has protection for non-dimmable bulbs. Also, if you plug it to a higher wattage unit, it will fry right away. Otherwise it’s a good dimmer as long you keep to the instruction manual. Its good quality, good value (cheap) and does the job what you need it for.

    Feels well made and robust

    Doesn't look as modern or stylish as the similarly priced alternative (I have one of each so can compare side by side), but feels solid and better put together. Works nicely, even with low wattage lights. I've tested it with a string of fairy lights and a bedside light and had no problems with either.

    Handy little gadget

    I make and sell lighting products and always found it a struggle to photograph lamps with the bulb switched on as my camera darkens the rest of the picture to compensate for the brightness, With this dimmer I can turn down the bulb until the camera likes it then click and the job is done, Though I have not used it for long periods it has been used and adjusted many times and I have not had a problem with it, Seems to be a good product and at this price its a brilliant product transforms the lamps in any room (dependent on bulb obviously)

    Mains socket plug in dimmer

    Works as it says on the box. This is the second switch I've bought as the first one stopped working when a bulb blew that was plugged into it. After getting the second one I took the old one apart and found a soldered in fuse inside which I replaced and got it working again. This fuse is not meant to be changed by the public as the dimmer case has anti - tamper screws in it and the fuse was soldered in. Why not fit the fuse to be able to be changed by the public.
