It wasn't, as I discovered 2 weeks later after coming back from a holiday. Communication with the company was swift with the request from them to identify the missing parts. 10.00 that night I got a response the warehouse would find the parts missing from stock and send. This might take 1-2 working days. Before the end of the following working day, the parts arrived. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

From my experience so far this company will not help you if there is a problem and I yet to check if the Electrics on this awning but you will need the remote to do this.
