Not a good idea for horses
It was definitely not strong enough for the reason I bought it which was to cut Bridle Paths on horses. I'm definitely going to keep it because it will cut knots out of my dog's hair.

Pleasantly surprised, your new favorite personal trimmer.
This is my second one. I broke my original one. Such a great little trimmer, very versatile and runs on one AA battery. It’s marketed towards pet grooming but it’s even better for personal use. You won’t be disappointed.

lightweight but packs a punch
it may be small but it cuts better than most clippers. It's also a lot easier to use around eye's, I'm not afraid to stab the eye like I would with scissors.

Bad quality
Please think twice before purchasing these trimmers. Purchased for my 3 pound yorkie for around the paws and ears. Its did not cut at all. Changed the battery and still nothing. I guess you get what you pay for. Not worth 2 cents.
