This socket holders is made of plastic
Bought this item that is described as heavy duty but it's mainly made from plastic an will not hold a socket set. The backing plate is just 1mm mild steel and the total weight is 920 gram's. 5 metal 1/2inch sockets 32mm-28mm weighs about the same. Very flimsy if you try to put more than 10 metal socket on it it bends and the larger sockets fall off. The blue square holders and rails look metal but are just plastic. This would not hold 80 sockets. Only really for very small tiny 1/4 inch but even they fall off if held upright. The sockets are meant to clip on the small ball bearing but only a few actually hold any sockets. Great ideas for keeping sockets neat but it wouldn't take the weight of a full set.
