Great for beginners or if you want a toned down workout
Having already bought and regularly used 'Essential Yogalates' i thought i'd give this one a go as the workout only lasts an hour as opposed to the hour and three quarters in the other dvd which i find too long and have to miss out sections. The exercises themselves are not as strenuous and mainly revolve around holding stretches and poses rather than stereotypical repetitive crunches or lunges. I would definitely recommend this for beginners or people who have never tried Yogalates before as it really tones you up and relaxes you (i always sleep really well the night after i do a Yogalates DVD!). The only criticism i would have is the warm up, which just consisted of lying on your back and breathing deeply which i felt didn't really do much. Saying that, i didn't feel uncomfortable ...
