      Best pliers for the buck

      These pliers are the exact same as protos but much cheaper. They are made by Wilde (they have the WM marking) as I said before these pliers are made for many different brands but they're all the same.

      Strong but short

      Pliers are well made. Teeth are sharp and deep enough. Plastic handle covers are a bit less flexible than most. This pair is short and good for close places.

      Tekton 6 1/2" pliers

      It's great I carried a SK 7206 every day for 20 years then they changed it from a 3 zone jaw to a 2 and they are getting hard to find the old style. This Tekton is an exact replacement other than red handles. It is priced very reasonable to the point I was worried about quality, but it has been great, I've had it a couple months now. I'm sure I'll own many more in the future

      Disappointed

      The pliers are more loose at the joint than the split requires. Surfaces are very rough, nothing like the pretty pictures. If this is American quality, next time I might go for Chinese.

      Tekton 37122 6-1/2 inch Slip Joint Pliers, a good value!

      I've only used them a couple of times but they worked well. They grip well and are very comfortable. Seem very well made. I'm trying to buy tools made in the USA and these are.
