Desperation brought me here, knowledge will keep me away
No disrespect intended to seller at all here - service, packaging and general transaction all good. Found that the tools weren't up to the task, soft plastics split, deformed or otherwise broke easily during attempted repair. A more complete kit is required to undertake the repair (adhesives and the like). Separately, attempting the repair was a mistake. Majority how to videos show the removal of a complete screen rather than one which has already shattered/cracked - this greatly impacts the likely success of the task. Spent £15 on attempting the repair, 25% of an out of warranty replacement (effectively a brand new unit) so now total cost of resolution is £75. Got the cash?
