Easy to apply and coverage
Covers well and easy to apply . Just follow the instructions on the tin ..... I pressure washed the underneath , let it dry for a day . Then wire brushed all the loose and flaking rust /old underseal . Inspected the floor/chassis ( incase it needed repairing ). masked all the exposed parts that didn't need to have a coat of underguard . I picked a hot day to apply and after shaking thge can to mix etc , applied 3 coats letting each to dry before applying each . I was prevoiusly using carplan underseal from a can ( 5L ) and I struggled to apply .. I am now pleased with the ease and finsh of the underguard and I will be buying in the futureCovers well and easy to apply . Just follow the instructions on the tin ..... Silverhook Underbody Seal
This is by far one of the best spray underseals you can use, to protect your vehicle. It sprays fairly thick and the coverage is best by far. Compared to other spray underseal brands on the market, it is not worth wasting your money on them. The "CarPride" brand we also purchased and tested, but was a total waste of money, despite some people saying it is good, I can honestly say it is a very thin spray, barely covered any area and was not good value for money. We have used "Silverhook" products for many years, and have tried other cheaper brands, just to see if we could find a better product and more value for your money, but alas we have not...Yes there are other major brands out on the market like Tetroseal and a few others, who are or more expensive and better, however this cheaper ... Well it covers and it's pretty cheap 6cans smothered my jags back end pre treated before with rust treatment thou but this spray is thick and sticks to everything it gets nr hands head hair face lol so use gloves and some ppe but yeah very thick and great coverage e en at a good 2ft away it still manages to cover but not as well as 6"away let it dry before u layer ur next tin on its a slow job but unless u have a shultz gun and good compressor then u ain't got a choice my jag has lived nr a seaside town for Yrs so very rusty undercarriage indeed but now looks like new and should be protected for a fair few Yrs this jag is 20yrs old and for some 25quid delivered to my door for 12cans I used in the end and an afternoon of sun and dry weather it's all ship shape just hope I don't have to ... Annual maintenance on car noticed few areas were old seal had started to flake . So wire brushed and jet washed underneath . Was recommended this product by local garage do didn't hesitate and ordered five cans .after leaving cans to stand in warm water and lots of shaking can honestly say four cans have covered arches and all the underside of my 206 SW leaving it looking like came from factory . And double coating the areas that were flaking beforehand. Even the garage who let me use there ramp were impressed with product and job it has done .once masking tape was removed from certain items and from outer sills to stop overspray.
