You do so by raising the folded tags around the perimeter of the crate using a narrow flat screwdriver and a light hammer to tap them vertically straight, once lifted by the screw driver. The top of the crate can then be raised by evenly tapping up the lid around the edges. if you order more than one item make sure you ask the truck driver if he has more than one item for you. My driver forgot to drop off the second item .
