About this product

Product Information

Rampage 2: Universal Tour gives players the ability to stomp, punch, and kick everything in sight while trying to demolish a 2D city. Hostile threats include members of the armed forces, who will riddle your hide with bullets, explosives, and rockets on the ground as well as in the air. In order to clear a level, you'll have to completely destroy all of the buildings within the city.

To do this, each monster can punch at the building while climbing it or repeatedly jump on the roof until it collapses. Things to keep an eye out for are open windows that can hold assorted power-ups and food. Watch out though, there might be a hazard that will cause your monster to vomit uncontrollably. After clearing a stage, a damage report will appear with statistics in the following three areas: building destruction, vehicle destruction, and human consumption or destruction.

Rampage 2: Universal Tour will take you to three continents (Asia, North America, and Europe) in your search for the missing monsters. More than 125 levels are at your disposal to kick, punch, or stomp anything that moves, and each creature has a special attack to make things a little more interesting. Bonus points are awarded for picking up items inside buildings as well as keeping the hordes of enemies at bay, including police, tanks, helicopters, soldiers, and jets. In order to survive this chaos, each of the playable characters is rated in three areas: walking, climbing, and punching.

Other notable features include the ability to configure the controls, adjust sound levels and play on one of three difficulty levels. Up to three players can also participate in the mayhem, and they can choose whether to suffer damage from each other or to share lives. Rampage 2: Universal Tour supports feedback devices such as Nintendo's own Rumble Pak as well as the Controller Pak to save progress. Players can also continue their game via passwords provided at the end of each level.

    Great N64 Games

Classic Rampage games found in the all arcades back in the day. Love to have these memories.

  • Nintendo 64 - Rampage 2

One of the few Nintendo 64 video games I've actually mastered. Rampage 2 is a great way to pass the time. First, you get your choice of six different destructive creatures to completely smash & destroy buildings, vehicles and consume people. You get the option of 'saving' the game you're playing right at every fifth city to tear apart. Starts out in Denver and you go through what I would guess to may be a hundred cities in the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia before hitting Aera 51, The Moon and a couple of dozen planets and asteroids. Helpful hint: the wolf moves the FASTEST and the rhino seems to be the most ruthless. Also, if you hit the L button, the blue button and the Z button at the SAME time, you'll discover that each creature will do their own 'serious' damage for fifteen ...

  • Nostalgia

Graphics are good for the N64 from the late 90s/early 2000s. Got it for nostalgia reasons. Like the game then and missed it from my collection

  • For old school 64 its preety good

The graphics are just like the ol Arcade type games. Fun rock'em sock'em action and you can have up to three players destroy cities and devour people, its a family thing! Controls are simple enough for my roommate to figure out, so thats a plus too! Have Fun, and get the cheats online!
