Not suitable for rainy weather
This is the second set of these speakers I have bought for in my garden. Love the sound of them. However, it says they are marine speakers. I would beg to differ, As usual you would associate marine speakers to be waterproof. So I assumed it would be OK to leave these speakers out all year round (WRONG). Start of the year I went to test the speakers, nothing. Not a peep of a sound. So taking them down to test them on my stereo in the house, water poured out all over me. 🤣. The terminals where the wires go in to the speakers were rusted. (This could do with a cover over it !!!. All in all, nice sounding speakers, but be prepared to take them down in bad rainy weather (not hard to do). If they was waterproof they would definitely get 5 stars but because of this problem I'm afraid I gave ... This is the second set of these speakers I have bought for in my garden. Perfect for the BBQ or lazy summer days in the garden
Had speakers in the garden piping music from the garage music system for a number of years. Main problem has been the look where, after a few months, anything with a metal front goes rusty.Not an issue with these speakers given their plastic construction. Sound as a Pound
I must admit I wasn't expecting a lot for my with these speakers.....WoW how wrong I was....for a start they are much bigger than I expected, the brackets have screw holes so the speakers can go horizontal or vertical and the sound is exceptional. I brought these for my garden, but I'm that impressed I intend to buy to more for my lean-to
