I’ve used Felway before to reduce stress behaviours with my cats, but tried this as a last resort because one cat is constantly attacking the other, stalking her and terrorising her. Feliway Friends
My 18 month old cat wasn’t thrilled when I bought a 15 week old kitten into my home. She was very grumpy and hissed at him all the time. She had changed from being playful, relaxed and chilled out to becoming very stressed and moody. I don’t know if time has healed or if buying this product has helped but she has calmed down and now plays with the kitten. Was it the product or is it because they have lived together for over 2 months now? I can’t answer that but it certainly didn’t do any harm. Feliway Not So Friendly
I have previously used the normal Feliway and that has calmed the cats down however I thought I would try Feliway friends as took in another boy cat with my existing boy cat, to stop them staring, at each other and my first cat, chasing the second cat around and being a bully. However, it has not worked a bit. I placed one plug at the cat flap where they come in and another on the middle floor and it has not made one bit of difference in fact I think since swapping from the original Feliway it has made the situation worse, so will be reverting back to the original in the hope that they start to get on better.
