I placed two orders for Ocufresh eye gel, the advertised brand, on both occasions I received Essential Eyecare brand, a brand that has a government health warning “do not use” as it may cause infection. I did get an infection, my GP wanted me to visit an optician urgently. I returned the second batch for a refund as it was still in the time limit. I have spent over £50 on 12 tubes of contaminated gel, I have also contacted them 3 times via eBay as well as by post but their silence is deafening.
