    Prefer to Makita Equivalent

    Bought to replace the Makita equivalent in the same style. I've not used it in earnest but the quality and ergonomics feel much better. I love the large lever that unlocks the plunge function (it is spring loaded to lock). Much better than the fiddly lever that I could not get on with on the Makita. Only time will tell if it is as reliable.

    Overwhelmingly good and swift sound and very handy to use both plunge and fixed base

    I find it really good and easy to use ideally you will use two routers by one. There are numbers of jobs you could do with minimum changes and time consuming

    The small brother

    This is an addition to my bigger 1/2 ins router. It fits the bill well and might be used more than it’s bigger brother. Only downside was I didn’t have any 1/4 ins router bits. Have made a small router table for it and it all works very well. If you don’t have a router this may be a better choice than the big brother. It’s likely do most things you want to do.
