    Takes me back to this small town

    The Bedside Companion is a wonderful re-visit to the town of Mitford and all of the notable citizens. by culling down to the most memorable sections of her stories, Jan Karon has made for a fast read that reminds me of why I loved the nine novels that compose her series. Although it could be read by itself, too many of the details would be lost if the reader does not go to the original stories before using Companion as a reference guide.

    Like all her other books, it's spell binding! With each of her books, I want it to last on and on; at the same time, I can't wait to read it so I can move on to the next one. the Devotional is exceptional and just right for our times! I would heartily recommend it to anyone and everyone! Jan Karon is the greatest author I've ever followed...and I've read almost every one she's written!
