    Particularly like the detailed recipe instructions that are accompanied by lots of photos in Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puds. I've already made the 'Meat and Potato Pie' that was reminiscent of a recipe my nan used to make over sixty years ago.     A must for serious pie makers

    This book is invaluable as it has all the different types of pastry with very clear instructions on how to make them. I am particularly interested in the hot water pastry for pork pies etc. The instructions and illustrations were brilliant. There are lots of different ideas for pies and puds that I will be trying out in the coming months. There are a lot of old fashioned recipes in the book that have a modern twist that make them fun. Altogether a good buy.

    Great book

    As a fairly accomplished baker myself, I wondered if this book would be any good when I borrowed it from the local library. It proved highly useful, both for technique tips and recipes, and I bought it as soon as the library copy went back. I highly recommend it to anyone who bakes.
