Filled with creepy, but endearing characters, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a children's movie that people of all ages will love. This two-disc set features the story of Jack Skellington (voiced by Danny Elfman) who endeavors to spread the joy of Christmas rather than simply scaring people as he and the other residents of Halloween Town have done in the past. Jack gets the whole town to help him with his plan, and they even go so far as to kidnap Santa Claus. This two-disc set has been digitally remastered, and it features a number of extras such as deleted scenes, test footage, movie trailers, shorts, and much more. For example, viewers will find audio commentary by Danny Elfman, Tim Buron, and Henry Selick. The Nightmare Before Christmas features subtitles and dubbing, and it features widescreen formatting. The Nightmare Before Christmas features a total run time of 76 minutes. While this is a children's movie, it is rated PG for some scary images, and might it not be appropriate for children under the age of nine.

    Nightmare Before Christmas

    This is so very cool this DVD version with the extra features. The audience gets to see a glimpse into what made the cut and what didn't in the theatrical version and how the story line evolved to it's featured conclusion. IMHO great work all the way around kudos to: Tim Burton, Danny Elfman,Paul Reubens,Chris Sarandon,Catherine O'Hara,William Hickey,Glenn Shadix,Ken Page,Edward Ivory and the rest of the cast and crew. Most excellent time will be had by all.

    I usually just fill out the feedback on items I buy but I felt it was very much needed for me to write just how much I appreciate the way this item was packaged. I’m a huge fan of this movie and have several different copies and I just wanted to say thank you for wrapping it in bubble wrap as well as placing a piece of cardboard over the front so jacks face did not get push in during shipping. Also the DVD’s are in beautiful condition and I couldn’t have asked for better considering the price I paid. So again thank you! The extra care you put into shipping this item did not go unnoticed and is very much appreciated! Now time to watch my favorite movie of all time!!!!!

    First impression

    I was so excited to get my dvd in the mail.. But sadly my excitement ended when i noticed the dvd case was broken.. Then the dvds just fell out and got slightly scratched. Now... Im actually impressed dvd works.. But upset with the condition on the case considering im a huge Tim Burton fan and i LOVE. Nightmare Before Christmas...i wanted it for a collectors item...
