I rode 5 miles with a thorn stuck in one. The natural rubber gripped it . I got a pinch flat in the back and got 200 meters after hitting that rock in the dark. The downside is daily topping up the pressure because it's a natural product and "breathes". If you find that a pain just put one in the front wheel for the increased comfort.
