    A true Classic

    This album was released in 1987 (not 1994) and is absolutely stellar! It's been said before that it's not up to the same standard as previous records with Viv Campbell on guitar but Craig Goldy's guitar work on this release is stunning. His Tone, phrasing, technique and unique style help make this one of Dio's best. Great songmanship exellently executed, a true 'classic' album in my opinion.

    Dream Evil - Dio - A Review By Nick Wilson

    The main reason I purchased this CD was to replace my LP version. Ronnie James Dio has one of the most recognisable & powerful rock voices. His career has spanned a number of bands. As the vocalist in his own band he had a resurgence in the 80's & Dream Evil was one of the high points with a number of tracks which simply rock. The title track along with Naked In The Rain, I Could Have Been A Dreamer & All The Fools Sailed Away are stand out tracks on an excellent opus by the diminutive Dio. I have no hesitation in recommending this album to anyone who loves metal, it would be a worthy addition to your CD collection.
