Best Drama Series of 2007!
Heroes is an American science fiction drama that tells the individual stories of people around the world with special gifts, from mind reading to teleportation abilities. Over the course of the series these people meet in different ways and try to save the world from a seeming inevitable explosion that destroys New York, and the murdering Sylar. Its popularity is shown by the 4.3 million weekly viewers that have watched it on UK Channel BBC 2. From the first time I saw Heroes I knew it would be a huge success. The story line is brilliant and extremely well written with twists and turns throughout that keep the audience wanting more. Each episode ends with a cliff hanger that ensures anybody watching will come back to see the next episode. The characters are played very well with cameo ... The characters are played very well with cameo appearances from Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Gone in 60 Seconds) and George Takei (Star Trek, Will and Grace) who only complement the acting standard of the cast. Throughout season 1 we go through the individual stories of these ‘superhumans’ discovering their powers and using them, but will they use them for good or evil? I strongly recommend that you watch this if you haven’t already, and I am predicting that Heroes will be a best seller when the box set is released. I have seen the complete first season and had a glimpse at the first few episodes of the second, and I am more than ready to see the rest! Heroes is my favourite drama series of 2007!

It may sound boring when you put it like that but believe me it is anything but, theres an eclipse and everyone is carrying on with their normal lives however some people start to notice some strange things about themselves. You have a girl who heals (she cannot be killed), a guy who can 'travel through the space continuum', someone who can read minds, a split personality that it stronger when it takes over, a boy that can 'tell' machinery what he wants it to do, somoen who can walk through walls, a healer, an artist that can paint the future when he is 'high' as well as 'Frying man' as hiro calls him or flying man to us, flying mans brother can also absorb the powers of people he is next to. the list is not exhaustive it's just that you don't find out about some peoles powers until later ... I absolutely adore Hiro, he is my favourite charachter throughout an watch out for david walliams as Sylar (not really but he is the spitting double of him, there has got to be some relation) This is a fantastic series with each episode showing you who the guys are, what powers they have and if you pick up on things how they are all connected. Each episode is the lead up to how the team of what used to be ordinary people (but no 'Heroes) will save the world. Definately buy it!

Can't wait for Series 2
This show is about a group of "special" people who possess supernatural abilities, like being able to fly. Hiro Nakamura (my favorite character), Claire Bennet, Peter & Nathan Petrelli, Matt Parkman, Niki & Micah Sanders, & many others! I was pretty skeptical about this show, too. But it has definetely become a favorite of mine. Even though it's about a childish concept of superheroes, it is incredibly rooted to the ground and very realisitc. It combines a great story with a lot of cool action. Each characters lives is seen through their perspectives. Hiro Nakamura is usually the source of comic relief in the show, but he's also my favorite character, and his power's cool. I was really pissed that the Writer's Strike stopped the production of Season 2, but it's OK now because the strike ...
