Need subtitles if you aren’t Irish
The film is a true story about Ireland’s fight to become an independent state. Friends become divided and the inevitable happens. I would have needed the subtitles to hear all the dialogue as I couldn’t always make out what the Irish tongue was saying. The DVD I purchased was either a copy or a dud so I didn’t fully get all the words but nevertheless s very good story

I am SO confused right now...

Informative part of Irish history well told and acted. Would have been better if the film had been on one side of the dvd only so you didn't have to turn it over for the last 15/20 minutes.
