If you buy this at half the retail price, you won't feel robbed. A marked improvement over the tv speakers you really need volume at level 10 before noticing the bass and side speakers. More immersive sound noticeable depending on what you are watching. I bought these as they are packed with features and smart connected and future proofed. Q symphony is noticeable and makes a difference. I have a bu8000 tv and paired with it instantly. Built in alexa who's voice is not as loud as others suggest in other reviews. I use the soundbar in a small 10 by 12 livingroom and at a regular volume level 10 to 12. Sufficient base and detail. Bought a "nearly new" unit with slight damage which did not affect the performance. Fitted to a basic Samsung 4k TV and hoping it was made for the job. Connected through HDMI cable to get the option of Dolby Atmos. I defaulted the TV Expert sound settings to Auto and Atmos. Plug and play worked first time. Choosing which sound mode etc with the dedicated remote required more patience than using the "Expert" sound settings on the TV. A vertical press on the dedicated soundbar remote on the "volume" was a very convenient mute button and a vertical press on the "Woofer" button returns the woofer to midpoint (very useful if you have it turned up too high). The sound quality is infinitely better than the TV speakers giving more definition to the range of sounds allowing you to hear speech ... The option to play around with frequencies is bonus if your hearing is not as good as it used to be. Well pleased with the purchase and would recommend downloading the full manual from the Internet. The Dolby Atmos sound coming out of the speaker is an improvement on the normal Dolby sound, however I'm sure that wifi rear speakers would lift the Atmos effect to a level approaching a quality set of headphones. I'm sure that for today's technology it would be very difficult get anywhere close to the value for money that this all-in-one speaker offers.

Perfect size and sound
Amazing sound and it fits under the tv and doesn’t distract from tv. The sound is impressive. The voice is much much clearer than other speakers I tried (I sent several back) recommend if you want a small speaker and you don’t have space for the subwoofer
