GERVASE PHINN,SIDE SPLITTING "TALES FROM THE DALES"
I am a big fan of Gervase Phinn's books about life as a school inspector in the Yorkshire Dales.Having read all the "dales" books and listened to his story telling on audio books I was interested to see the man himself performing "Live" on this DVD recorded in Wakefield. The performance was just what I expected,had me splitting my sides with laughter and the story telling was even more enhanced by Gervase's facial expressions.(not too sure about the choice of apparel though,I think he has taken over from Richard Whitely in the jacket stakes!!)A wonderful DVD that I will be watching over and over again.There should be more Gervase Phinn's in this world,he lights it up. I ordered the above DVD which was received very promply and proved to be of excellent quality. Unfortunattly on leaving very positive feedback I somehow left a "neutral" rating. I wanted to change the rating to positive but have to admit I failed in this;hence this review Phillip Horsman
