Jaguar XF replacement fuel cap strap ( without any attachment to car ).
A great little useful item. Seems well built enough to survive a decade of use. Cheaper than a new fuel cap with strap. Fits easily enough onto the existing fuel cap but its a shame that the manufacturer's pack does not contain a nut and bolt or a rivet to attach the new strap to the external fuel flap. Seems a little penny pinching.

(Almost) Straight swap for my old retaining strap on 2010 XF
I brought this to replace my time-deteriorated strap on my 2010 Jag XF. It arrived in good time and it only took a few seconds to lever the retaining plastic off the cap and slide this new one on. Read the info on the product page relating to this as until I popped-out the old strap clip on the fuel door hinge I couldn't tell if this would snap straight-on the old hinge push-clip retainer fitting. I've now ordered some 8mm push-fit clips. As the product info says, yours may differ... I've attached a photo of the end of my original fitting for reference. It's a pity an 8mm clip couldn't be supplied with the product (as I would have paid extra) but there you go.I brought this to replace my time-deteriorated strap on my 2010 Jag XF.
