2200W Induction hob arrived quickly. This works better than my former freestanding hotpoint hub worked. The temp setting of 'fry' function is 80 degrees C to 240 deg C in 20 deg C increments. I've fried aubergine to tender in less than 10 min and cooked tender beef stew and dumplings and veg soups with ease and control. I even bought a 8 litter induction stock pot for bigger soups. If it keeps working for a year or two I'll be very happy for £24. It didn't work with my thin stainless steel pans.
