Produced for, and originally aired on, cable's Turner Classic Movies, the documentary miniseries MOGULS & MOVIE STARS: A HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD chronicles the gradual evolution of Tinseltown from the earliest Hollywood peep shows in 1889, through the rise of talking pictures, the evolution and then abolishment of the Hays Code, and the dawn of the "New Hollywood" at the outset of the 1960s - an era when the director became king. Along the way, the program sheds a light on innumerable individual careers and iconic films. This box set contains the entire seven-episode program. Installments include: PEEPSHOW PIONEERS (1889-1907), THE BIRTH OF HOLLYWOOD (1907-1920), THE DREAM MERCHANTS (1920-1928), BROTHER, CAN YOU SPARE A DREAM?     The order got here in the specified amount of time. I pulled the steel book out of the packaging and looked to be in good shape. Until I opened it up and the front and back of the case separated at the spine. Case split straight down the middle of the spine. I contacted them through ebay and showed them pictures and explained the situation and they sent me another one completely free and also let me keep the broken one as well.
