    Literature at its finest

    Being a big fan of the movie franchise I decided to purchase this bookset to read through on my commute to work and I have simply been blown away, Tolkien truly created a masterpiece with this series of books, I found myself not wanting my bus journey to end so I could carry on reading, I half expected to find myself knowing the entire story having seen the films but there is a huge amount of great content that never made it into the films. The production quality of the books themselves is also fantastic. All this at a price that I have not seen beaten anywhere else online, truly worthy of 5 stars.

    Great story, nice presentation box - Shame about the binding

    Bought for a birthday present. Box is nice and the design consistent across the books. Obviously fantasy fans will love the LoTR series. What they'll love less is the poor binding used on the books themselves. These were bought for a birthday present and it's very disappointing that after one read the books look like they'll be useless as pages are falling out as quick as they're being read (and this is someone who looks after books and doesn't bend the spines).

    Great value for a classic

    Probably the best value Lord Of The Rings 4 book set you can buy! Other editions go for silly money to tell the same story with slight variations. Wasn’t sure if fantasy novels were my thing but after reading the Hobbit, I’m hooked! Product was well wrapped and sealed just as described. Quickly posted and arrived on time. Really happy with my purchase and recommend to anyone thinking of buying it.

    Lord of the Rings. Says it all, amazing.

    Wonderful books. I purchased this set for my Granddaughters birthday. She is an avid reader and I just knew that this was just up her street. I have had my boxed set for nearly 20 years, and have read it many times. My all time favourite books.
