As it says in the photo, 'no plastic parts'. This is a weighty device with smooth travel that is easy to use accurately. It replaced a slightly cheaper, part-plastic version from another seller, which proved faulty on arrival and for which I was refunded. This one is many times better and only about a fiver more expensive. If you are looking at all the callipers listed on ebay and wondering which one to buy, I strongly recommend you buy this one.
