After more than three years without a release, one of Sony's signature platform franchises returns with more exploration, more gadgets, and more vehicular combat in Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Gamers once again join the heroic elf Jak and his surly sidekick Daxter as they travel to the ends of their planet to search for ancient Precursor technology that may alleviate a crisis caused by rapidly dwindling supplies of the world's "eco." But finding a new source of eco will not be easy, because the duo must suffer through their own Manichean struggles with light and dark eco, all while battling beastly creatures and fighting sky pirates out to secure the valuable resource for their own subversive desires. Luckily, players are armed with special abilities, a variety of powerful weapons, and five customizable ships for air battles.

    Great game - worth the wait.

    My kids and I love the Jak series on our PS2. It's been a long wait for the latest one - The Lost Frontier - but it was wirth it. TLF continues the eco theme from the previous games but takes a fresh spin on it. Due to a lack of eco, Jak loses his Dark-Jak abilities, but gains a cool new weapon-system instead. Replacing the vehicle-action from Jak3 & Jak-X, TLF takes to the skies with air-battles instead. This is nicely implemented, balancing ease-of-play with traditional Jak "see-em-blast-em" type gameplay. The plot is strong and provides a great narrative. The scenery is awesome and the characters are richly detailed. All of this adds a depth not often seen in advanced-platformer games. If you've played any of the other Jak games, you should definitely add this one to your collection.

    Jak and Daxter - The Lost Frontier

    Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is the sixth game of the surmounting that holds the personages Jak and Daxter, of platform and action. The game marks a return to the origins therefore much more in the first style of what in as. Bringing some traditional elements already, as the pulls of Jak through devices that allow that to reach inaccessible places of another form. The scenes sufficiently are varied, going since a full underground place of wash until skies, inside of a ship. The controls are sufficiently simple, leaving the free way player to focar it in the experience of platform in itself. The combat exists, therefore the enemies still become gifts, but certainly they are not the part predominant - or more interesting - of the game.

    Last but not least of Jak and Daxter series

    Great game that adds to Jak and Daxter story line. It is an action packed that keeps you entertained from beginning to end. Just awesome game play that will create good memories.
