    Second purchase, would definitely recommend

    Used these in the past and they worked well. I put far too much in the first time and came back to quite a lot spilling out of the pots but at least my plants looked healthy. This time we used the correct amount and all is well. Would buy them again, good if you have lots of pots and no one to water them for you. Cheaper and easier than rigging up an irigation system too!

    Great stuff and so simple

    Really keeps peat damp, our outdoor pot plants were very healthy even after we were away for 2 weeks during the realy hot weather. Needs to be mixed with the peat before planting and wet the peat mixture and leave for a while before planting as granules swell many times their size and peat can overflow the pot.

    Great product

    Bought some planters and I sometimes forget to water the plants. This is ideal. Has its own measuring scoop inside. Slightly fiddly as need to mix the crystals in with compost first, then water it, leave for a few hours then ready to add the plants. Crystals turn into gel. Does look weird though
