Wonderful family film
It wasn’t just a simple story about a boy and his dog. It dealt with issues of right and wrong and at times both sides (father and son) were right. It has a great cast including Michael Moriarity who is very good as usual. It is a good movie for the whole family.

Good realistic type dog movie...
First of all, I like dog movies, so that's why I bought this one. I liked the movie. It's about a boy who makes a deal with a not so friendly neighbor to buy his dog in order to protect the dog from further abuse. To me, it was a realistic movie, meaning it could happen in real life and it's not at all like a fairy tale, but does have a good ending. I also bought the 2nd movie and will be buying the 3rd movie to see how it goes as well.First of all, I like dog movies, so that's why I bought this one. I liked the movie. Shiloh DVD
Part of my curriculum in the fourth grade is that my students have to write a compare and contrast for the movie Shiloh and the book. My fellow teacher lost the video of Shiloh and I had to scramble to find the DVD. The local video store did not have it. I was very fortunate to find it on ebay. Good service, excellent price It did take a little longer than I wanted in the mail.
