The original vent seal sat over an upstanding flange on the vehicle body. This seal did not fit as it was too short. Unfortunately this is typical of modern reproduction parts, often from China, which are nowhere near as good as the original parts for material or workmanship. The long dimension of the slot in the seal is 6 1/2” the upstanding that it sits on is 3/16” longer. Not too much difference but different enough to make it not fit.
