    The Legendary Wire !

    The opening salvo from the greatest tv drama of it's time, for my money . I liked this more than the Sopranos (and that's saying a lot!) . The heroes are flawed, the bad guys VERY bad and in the middle are kids trying to survive horrible odds . Full of amazing characters, beautifully portrayed by great actors playing to a tight, twisty script . I can't recommend this highly enough🙂

    One of the best TV series.

    Extremely good series. All characters are so credible. I found the subtitles essential to comprehend the street language which ultimately was rewarding in the challenging story lines.

    Thrilling gritty films

    The Wire draws you in to 2 cultures with their similarities, their conflicts. And it’s pacy but occasionally contemplative, and even beautiful with starkness. The Baltimore Police are drilling down into a drugs operation at a poor housing area. The criminals are resourceful and lively, like the cops. It’s tremendously exciting, and sad.

    The Wire

    A great story with a plot that can be followed, belivable characters that create a certain empathey weather they are the good guys or the bad guys. Human frailties exsposed in an environmet of grity realalism , a great sub plot highlighting the similarties between local goverment politics, the police and organised crime. Very watchable, compeling viewing.
