  • A Batman for All Seasons

It's kind of refreshing that the Caped Crusader gets a makeover for each new generation. This incarnation appears to start at the beginning, with the father-son dyad of Batman and Alfred. Jim Gordon has not yet made his appearance, and Batman is much more youthful (recent college grad it looks like). Very stylized look to it and the pacing sings (zings) compared to previous animated series. While this series is good and a lot of fun, it does stand on the shoulders of the Batman Animated Series (Dini, Timm) as well as taking some of the stylistic chances of Batman Beyond. Many of the characters have been completely re-imagined: the Joker is more primal and less sociable; the Penguin returns to his roots as a dangerous narcissist, Clayface gets a total makeover and new origin ...

  • Great Reinterpretation of the Dark Knight

The first season of the batman is good, also it doesn't have any link with previous series (The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited), the directors and producers are new with the show, Bruce Timm and his staff didn't create this new version, the new staff tried to find out how can make a good reinterpretation the dark knight without touch those series, in the first season you will see his nemesis: in the first episode appears Joker, without his regular costume, Catwoman appears more like a mouse with her new ears that a cat, and a great surprise is penguin, he has a good remake.

  • Best DC/Animated/Batman series to ever see have been made.

I loved The Batman growing up around the 2000s and I was able to relive each moment of my childhood when I would watch certain episodes from the 1st season. 10/10.

  • My review of The Batman by Stephen Tate

I loved the first season of The Batman! The video and sound quality was great. I liked seeing Batman take down the bad guys and I also liked the updated Bat gadgets. They were cool. And so was the new batmobile. Also I liked that this show dealt with the early exploits of The Batman and how he would grow in future seasons to become the hero that Gotham City could depend on. And I bought season one of The Batman from you to complete my collection of the entire series. I'm a big fan of Batman, and this series shows a true representation of what the Dark Knight should be. Thank you so much for the order. Sincerely, Stephen Tate

  • The Batman - The Complete First Season DVD set

The first season of "The Batman" has a different take on the characters than in past shows. Bruce Wayne has assumed the role of Batman for 3 years and is still developing his skills that will lead him to become the legend of the Dark Knight. Major villians are introduced and Batman is considered a threat and vigilante to the Gotham Police. This season shows Batman stuggling to adapt to new challenges posed by the appearance of super villians and Bruce Wayne trying to keep his life as the Batman safe and secret from his more public personal life. All and all, it is a very entertaining show and I recommend it for any Batman fan.
