The trolley is smaller than the normal caged type trolley, but it's easier to mover, lightweight, easier to fit into narrower passages and spaces. I did slightly bend the bottom back bar, but it was minimal and I felt the I could get it straight again. The wheels (six wheels) helps much getting up and down the steps when there was no lift and up and down the pavements with ease. It folds away neatly too, I haven't tried the load lifting without the cage, that will come soon enough. Great price
