Germinates within a week, had good germination on wet paper towel sprinkled with filter carbon, held between 2 plastic lids to keep damp, i then cut the paper towel and planted the entire piece directly in the tank, photo below of compact grass in middle of tank.. Even sprinkled on surface of still water tank and received good germination rate, eventually sprouts sunk to bottom and grabbed into the substrate, onto a rock and I picked whatever was left floating in the water and put on driftwood.
