It’s okay, but it’s not what a Hitman game was supposed to be. It all started when the rumors came out that IOI wasn’t going to have David Bateson voice Agent 47. Then people petitioned to keep him so they used him. I think they replaced Diana though. The missions are all linear. Once you advance to a new area say goodbye to the area you were just in. Doesn’t matter how much or how little you explored the area. If you completed the objective for an area you can not return once you advance to the next area. The gameplay is different from all the other Hitman titles. You don’t pick your load out. It’s automatically tailored to each mission. If you love the Hitman franchise and must play every game, get it as cheap as you can, like $10. As for someone that only wants to play good Hitman games, skip this title. All the rest are great games. The new Hitman 1&2 are back to the Hitman roots. IOI requested and listened to feedback from the fans and tailored the new games to what fans said they wanted after Absolution had received complaints about the gameplay.Read full review

Hitman Absolution is a fun game that I found to be challenging with a great story. The object is to be a stealthy as possible to get the highest score. This can be very challenging which I like in a game. Sure you can go balls out, shoot everyone and everything but you will have a negative score. I like that you can play either way but I enjoyed being stealthy a whole lot more. I did not try the online contracts but the game campaign was brilliant.
