Battery life
The radio works with batteries or cable. When left on 'standby' for 12 hours with four new batteries inserted, even though no station playing etc., the batteries go dead. If one switches the whole radio off at the back, it takes a few minutes every time for the radio to pick up both the time and date and then to switch on by the 'standby' button. If the batteries die so quickly on standby, I wonder how long they would last if the radio was playing for an hour or two? If the cable is connected, are the batteries isolated so that no power is taken from them or does one need to remove them every time? I'm about to take it on a trip and will find out.The radio works with batteries or cable. Surprisingly quite good
Purchase itseld was smooth and received the product in 2 days (in UK). I was surprised overall product. I was not expecting it to exceed my expectations by such a margin. It's easy to setup, use and has good reception and above all sound quality for the size and its price.
