About this product

Product Information

Billed as a first-person fighting game, Namco's Breakdown chronicles the story of a young man freed from a mysterious organization looking to brainwash him into submission. Inspired by the film "The Matrix," the protagonist is rescued from the covert agency by an athletic woman who can run across walls and will periodically join fights by using her skills in both martial arts and weaponry. Players can not only smash soldiers, government agents, and supernatural enemies using their fists, but call upon a special energy that imbues the character's arms with powerful concentrations of light. Breakdown was officially unveiled at Japan's 2003 Tokyo Game Show as an Xbox exclusive.

Quality item at a great price. Super fast shipping. Packed well - extra wrapping in a mailer. As a serious collector, I appreciate this level of care even though this wasn't an expensive title. Would do business again.

As described. The item came with everything pictured and was functional. It was packed in a ziploc bag which was great bc it rained the day I got it and I was so worried it was damaged bc the outside box was wet 😭. It was perfectly fine in the end tho. Thank you!

Amazing game for the time it was release

I love this game, since I was a child, and I was very happy that, I got the chance to relive the experience again now that I’m older, it been many years, since the last time I’ve played this game.

  • Break-down of Breakdown

As many other reviews have said, this game tries so hard to be innovative and different, and it succeeds (mostly). Some aspects of the immersion just get tiresome, namely the process of acquiring ammo and other pick-ups by "activating" with X, then extending to reach the item with X, then accepting the item with X. Another MAJOR annoyance is the FOV as it feels rather close, but that could just be me not liking FPS on consoles. The gameplay is pretty awesome and challenging and the story is fairly compelling. Overall, an excellent off-beat game you should try if you want a refreshing look at FPS titles.

  • Review for Breakdown the game.

The story to the game is not what I would have thought, it is very good and I love how it plays out. It has many twist to it. It does have some things in it that a RPG games have. The shooting of the guns are alright but crosshires for the guns would be great to shoot the guns with more accuracy. The hand-to-hand combat is great to. The controller sentens should have more freedom of how you can set your controller to how you would like it be when playing.

  • seems good

The "snake game" (it has several names) is one of the simplest game concepts ever, and just like Tetris it's very addictive. There are a lot of variations of this game written in Flash, and this tutorial will explain one way to create it. It's a relatively easy game to code, but many fail to make sure that when keys are pressed in rapid succession they are all registered. This is necessary if you want to have full control of the snake at all times.

  • Within the 1st min. you puke from 1st person perspectiv

This game plays out completely from the 1st person perspective which makes for a very interesting game play not seen before. Not only do you wield guns in this perspective but you also punch and kick from it. VERY COOL!! The story in this is very interesting and unfolds nicely. The graphics are nice and the sound is suitable. I would recommend trying this game at least once. You will find it just challenging enough and the story line keeps your attention.
