    What junk! The compass ball is so constrained (oversized) within the under-sized outer globe that it scrapes when trying to change direction. The one sent to me always points to the EAST instead of NORTH. My other compass points correctly to NORTH every time, so it's NOT a problem with its location nor caused by nearby magnets.
