Good enough for light/occasional use
I needed a long tape measure just to keep for those occasional jobs around the house and garden, where a regular tape measure was too short. The fibreglass tape is well made, and has imperial measurements on one side and metric on the other, the flip out metal winding handle does the job, but the housing it sits in is plastic, as is the main case. So to sum up - if you are a D.I.Yer and want a half decent long tape measure for occasional jobs around the house and garden, then this is ideal, but if you are a builder, gardener, surveyor, other professional etc, and want one for regular, daily, heavy use on site then I don't think that the case or handle would take that much punishment for very long, especially if you dropped it from a height. Good value and ideal for occasional use.
Good value for the money. If you want a 100 ft tape measure for occasional use then this is suitable. Professionals would buy a more robust, professional model but this is fine if you want to measure the rooms in your house for example.

great little measuring tape
I originally purchased this measure for use on one job and understandably didn't want to spend much money on something that would in all likelihood only be used once. However it has proved to be a very useful item to have around and i wouldn't be without it now. The markings are clear to read with feet and inches on one side of the tape and cm and metres on the reverse.
