The experienced vendor was concerned about sending the glass-framed etching from America and advised in advance that he would remove the etching from the frame and package the components separately for protection. His caution was well-founded, since the glass was broken on receipt. However, the etching and frame were in perfect order and I am grateful that he took that amount of care in the packaging.
