Our microwave quit working. Our first thought was "great, we have to buy a new microwave", but then we decided to see if we could fix it. This part was inexpensive and easy to install. So now instead of spending hundreds for a new microwave and having our old microwave in the trash, we kept money in our pocket and trash out of the landfill! Win Win. This part works great. It shipped quickly and we are very satisfied.

I was very happy to find a magnetron that would resurrect my microwave oven. The $24.50 price was competitive, but it's about 1/2 the price of the oven if found for sale used. The magnetron looks fine, except for some mysterious marks on the magnet and metal traces across the ceramic high voltage insulator around the waveguide exit and the plastic one around the lead connections. I cleaned the insulators with alcohol, but the traces mostly remained. They are very similar to the lines found after sliding an aluminum pot across a ceramic sink. I imagine they came from improper removal or storage of the magnetron before it was shipped. I installed the magnetron and the oven works fine, but I wonder how long it'll last, as I see magnetrons fail by arcing across these insulators. In the future, I hope this seller carefully removes and stores their magnetrons so that no metal scrapes or rubs across either of the insulators.Read full review

Is a direct replacement for our 8 year old GE Microwave. Arrived promptly, packaged appropriately and passed the volt/ohmmeter tests. It saved a very important appliance in our home. Worth the effort.

It works however its made in China and I doubt it will last as long as the original. Panasonic made a huge mistake when they outsourced the manufacture of this magnetron to China. Japanese magnetrons are far superior. The only reason they outsourced it was to put more YEN in their pocket. It will come back to bite them. I sold Panasonic Microwaves ovens and I still have customers who are using the same ones that were sold in 1980 here it is 2023, The original Panasonic chinese made magnetron failed in 2 years! The only thing the Chinese are good at is manufacturing Covid 19. Sounds like they have a new one manufactured more deadly than the first
