Happy Listening
I have been so happy listening to the Quad 66 that I haven't had time, until now, to write a review. You could spend thousands on a sound system to try and beat the Quad, but most of the time you would fail. The Quad doesn't immediately impress, the sign of a good sound system isn't how many bells and whistles it has, or how stunning that bass is, although the Quad 66 won't disappoint. It is the fact you can listen to it hour after hour without any fatigue whatsoever. A very underated bit of kit that can be picked up relatively cheaply compared to the joy it will bring. A great sounding pre amp although I liked my 44 this is certainly a sonic step up ,comprehensive inputs, Seemed a little strange at first having no controls .All the functions are on the handset it even operates my Cyrus player. The original remote is certainly a handful I use the new tv style option which can be bought on E Bay. I like the all RCA inputs making life easy. The matching tuner is also worth tracking down once again an improvement over the fm4 with 20 presets available.
