Despite its reputation as being an 'ugly design' I've always liked the look of the EX-P600. It looks, and is, rugged and chunky but is actually smaller than you'd think from review pictures. All metal, quality stuff too. Feels heavy in the hand. Start up time is quick, as is the shutter. None of that appalling 'lag' of a few years ago. Okay its not SLR speed but its faster enough for most situations. Great image quality, good colours, accurate exposures. A.F does struggle sometimes in low light and noise is an issue at 400 iso. less so than some of those recent 10 meg compact though- and the noise, at least, looks sharpish! Lastly and importantly for me it has a fairly good optical viewfinder- around 85% of final image. If you see one try a bid. Although you might be bidding against me- I quite fancy a back up!
