I actually think of it as a 5 star product, because it feels light to pick up when empty, but when it is filled, to about 1.5 litres of water, it is not too heavy for anyone, and that includes people with bad Osteo and Rheumatic arthritis (as I am: this is why I bought the kettle in the first place!). The onovative lid is easy to use, and hopefully, the springs in the removable lid won't stretch or break over time, which is a common fault with traditional press- button hinged lids. All I do, if using after water has boiled is to shake the lid over the sink, and let any condensation be absorbed by a piece of folded kitchen roll which is where I park it. Also, being 3 Kw, it boils far quicker than the EU rubbish about 2.2Kw is better for the environment, it takes so long for the lower rated (2.2Kw)kettle to boil, you can virttually have a shower, and find it just starting to boil The dark blue with the copper trim looks really nice in the kitchen, even though it's the only blue thing there! Great and simple kettle, I love it!Read full review

There are two things that impresses me about this kettle light weight and much quieter running than my last branded kettle. Would definitely suggest you buy this.
